The Kestrel 5400FW Fire Weather Pro WBGT is an all in one handheld heat safety meter and weather station. Lightweight, waterless, and easy to use, the unit offers quick set-up with the included vane mount to become a complete weather station capable of logging weather conditions and critical heat safety information. The 5400 provides NIST-traceable accuracy, reliability and usability when it matters most. Get Probability of Ignition (PIG), Fine Dead Fuel Moisture (FDFM), Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) and Thermal Work Limit (TWL) along with heat stress index, dewpoint, temperature (air/water/snow), wind chill, wind speed (current/average/max), altitude, barometric pressure, pressure trend, and relative humidity. It features an integrated compass and allows you to track trends with on-screen data graphing on a large, backlit display for easy viewing in all conditions. With the use of Bluetooth LiNK wireless connectivity, the 5400 seamlessly sends current and logged weather conditions and heat safety alerts directly to your mobile device, keeping you and your crew informed, prepared and safe. Use the included Vane Mount for hands-free monitoring.
